Course Type

Erasmus+ KA1 – Staff Mobility (Education and Training)


Course Aim

The course aims to develop participants' competences in the ethical, responsible, and transparent use of AI tools within Erasmus+ KA1 education mobility projects, in line with EU values, GDPR, and Erasmus+ quality standards.


Learning Objectives

Participants will:

  • Understand ethical implications of AI use in Erasmus+ projects

  • Apply AI tools responsibly during project design and implementation

  • Ensure GDPR compliance and data protection

  • Maintain academic integrity and transparency in project work

  • Support inclusion, fairness, and wellbeing using AI

  • Develop institutional guidelines for ethical AI use


Course Content - 6 Days

Day 1: AI Ethics and Erasmus+ Values

  • AI in European education projects

  • Erasmus+ priorities and EU ethical principles

  • Risks, responsibility, and human-centered AI

Day 2: Ethical AI in Project Design

  • AI-supported needs analysis and project planning

  • Academic integrity and authorship

  • Transparency in proposal writing

Day 3: GDPR and Data Protection

  • GDPR principles in Erasmus+ projects

  • Data security when using AI tools

  • Risk prevention and compliance strategies

Day 4: AI in Project Management

  • Ethical AI use in planning, reporting, and communication

  • Responsible automation and human oversight

  • Partner and stakeholder communication

Day 5: Inclusion, Fairness, and Wellbeing

  • Bias prevention and inclusive AI use

  • Accessibility and diversity in project activities

  • AI to reduce workload and support staff wellbeing

Day 6: Implementation and Action Planning

  • Developing institutional AI ethics guidelines

  • Ethical AI workflow for Erasmus+ KA1 projects

  • Individual action plans and reflection
